Danny Is Different is a children's illustrated story for kids of all ages. Danny is Different is a great book with English and Spanish narration on the same page. I loved the fact that as I was reading this book, I was remembering some of my Spanish from being in school. I can't wait to read this to my granddaughter. I will be buying a copy to send her, and keeping one with me so we both can turn the pages together, and learn why, "Danny is Different" together. I think this is a FABULOUS way to help teach young children, and even adults like myself how to speak Spanish, or English. The illustrations are beautifully done, and yet still have a child flavor to them. Danny is Different teaches a great lesson to children and adults that just because your a little different doesn't mean you can't fit in, or your difference really isn't that different after all...I suggest any one with a child should buy , and read this book. However, it is a great way for grandparents long distance to be able to read too their grandchildren over a computer ,or a phone, and still be able to share the book together at the same time..Product details

This is such a great book. It teaches us that being different isn't a bad at all. It can be a blessing. This is such a great way to teach our kids about how we are all different in same way.
Fun book to read with young children. Really good for a special friend to share. Enjoy this book with your kids.
Danny was different, but being different became a positive thing for Danny. I appreciated Danny's attitude and I liked the way his parents defended him. Danny believed in himself and he related to a variety of people.
A book in two languages would be great for children learning a second language.
For kids who are starting to notice the entire class is not a single pack where everyone has the same interests and strengths, this is a fun little read for helping them understand why different is not only okay, it can be good.
Danny is Different really caught my eye with the cover and the dual translations of the story. It is a great opportunity to read and work on comprehension with a child, and adds an extra layer to the story.
The message of being comfortable with yourself even when you are different, like Danny was, is something that children need to hear and be reinforced.
He found out on his own though a snake, fish and a bird that being different from one another was not so bad after all and learned to love himself for how he was formed in his mom's womb. This also had some grand images and easy to read fonts,too! For all these reasons this is why I want to recommend this for five stars and any age child for this matter who needs this inspiration from Danny ' s Story. Wonderful ebook story Ted and Danny! By Angela
This is a cute bilingual story that focuses on individual differences. Danny is a snake born with two legs. At first, his parents are appalled; they struggle how to adjust. Danny is happy; he learns to use those legs to his advantage. He hones his soccer skills and eventually succeeds in representing his community in the World Soccer Bowl. One day, Cindy Snoot, a nosy neighbor, discovers Danny's secret. A committee of neighbors is formed to decide how to handle the situation. Only after Danny demonstrates his talents, will the community acknowledge that it's okay to be different.
This short eighteen-page book is perfect to teach preschoolers the importance of accepting physical, emotional, and intellectual differences. It focuses on the prejudices of both children and adults. Minor editing errors and basic illustrations do not detract from the overall effect of the message. Recommended for parents and teachers of children ages three through six.
